About Us
Oldsmobile had it right. Escape from the Ordinary.
Everyone has been to a car show. And for the most part everyone knows what to expect. But once in a while its fun to try something different.
Oldsmobile chose to accomplish this idea by providing new equipment and packages that would allow anyone to forget their everyday routine once they slipped behind the wheel. They called this Youngmobile Thinking.
We are choosing to provide an array of many things combined in a single event that will allow YOU to forget YOUR everyday and every show routine. We call this Youngevent Thinking.
After finishing my restoration projects I began participating in many local events. I met a lot of good people and have learned a lot about them and their hobby. Over time, I realized that occasionally I was dissatisfied with any given event, and others were too. Instead of working in the garage, I decided to focus my energy on hosting my own show. With the support of family and friends this became a reality this past July. Most shows are hosted either privately or by some variety of organization. In either case, the main objective often becomes profit. In both cases either the private host benefits or the organization uses the event as a fundraiser, such as a city or car club. Very often, what they are willing to offer to their participants is based on projected attendance and revenue goals. We at the COUNTRY CAR & BIKE SHOW have NOT adopted this philosophy. Hosting this event is and will continue to be a Hobby, dedicated to the participants, spectators, and staff. We have and will use all proceeds collected from sponsors and registration fees to incorporate a wider variety of attractions to our event, promoting growth. We have started by implementing things that we believe every car show should have. Since this is the people's show, we also want to take your ideas and incorporate them so that everyone's voice is heard and everyone has the most fun for themselves, family, and friends as possible! I encourage you to take a few moments and review the pages of this site. The information found here will serve as the framework for the upcoming show on July 19, 2008. If there is something you don't see that you wish you did please contact us using the form provided. From all of us, we hope to see you next year.
